Cause
Device is connected to a network
(intended behavior): Autohold function
is activated automatically.
Load cell or weight calculation module
defective
One corner of the scale has been
loaded excessively.
The scale has been switched on with
too high a load.
The scale was caused to oscillate and
was unable to determine the zero point.
Ambient temperature too high or too
low.
Cause
Calibration failed
Device is in an undefined state
following implausible inputs.
Wiring in the ultrasound measuring
head incorrect
The status LED is defective.
Remedy
If necessary, disconnect device from
network
Inform seca Service
• Distribute weight evenly
• Disconnect the plug-in power supply unit
from the socket
• Plug the plug-in power supply unit into the
socket; the device and the multifunctional
display switch on automatically
• Inform seca Service
• Remove the weight from the weighing
platform
• Disconnect the plug-in power supply unit
from the socket
• Plug the plug-in power supply unit into the
socket; the device and the multifunctional
display switch on automatically
• Disconnect the plug-in power supply unit
from the socket
• Plug the plug-in power supply unit into the
socket; the device and the multifunctional
display switch on automatically
• Observe ambient conditions for operation,
transport, and storage ➔

Remedy
• Make sure that no objects or people are in
the immediate vicinity of the device during
calibration
• Make sure that the supplied calibration
rod was used
• Make sure that the calibration rod is posi-
tioned centrally on the foot silhouettes of
the weighing platform
• Take power supply unit out of the socket
• Wait approx. 1 minute
• Plug the power supply unit into the
socket; the device and the multifunctional
display switch on automatically
Wire the ultrasound measuring head as
described in the corresponding assembly
instructions
