Scope of delivery:
1x cylinder-head bolt M5x16 (1)
1x oval head screw M5x20 (2)
1x range change metal nut M5 (3)
1x sensor box fixing bracket (4)
1x shift shaft adapter piece (5)
1x retaining plate for ON/OFF switch (6)
1x foam 70x85x5mm (7)
1x cable tie 300/4.8mm (8)
1x cable2 (12)
Preparations
- Jack up the motorcycle.
NOTE: A rear wheel lifting device (610.29.055.400) available from KTM
with the universal V-adapter (610.29.055.120) is recommended.
- Remove the seat.
- Remove the tank.
- Remove the left and right radiator shrouds.
- Remove the left and right exhaust ducts.
- Remove the left and right rear fairing.
- Remove the top left and right front fairing.
- Remove the bottom left and right front fairing.
- Remove the left and right intake snorkels.
- Remove the headlight.
- Remove the top section of the filter box.
Assembly
- Remove screws (9) and (10), position the sensor box fixing bracket (4)
and mount original screws (9) and (10) again.
- Remove screw (11), position the shift shaft adapter piece (5) and mount
original screw (11) again (Loctite 243).
- Position the range change metal nut (6) on the shift shaft adapter piece.
