Cleaning with Vinegar
w WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect power before cleaning the outside of the coffee brewer.
Wipe down the outside of the coffee brewer, control panel, and cord
with a damp cloth or sponge. To remove stubborn spots, use a mild,
nonabrasive cleaner. Do not immerse cord, plug, or base in any liquid.
TIP: Regular cleaning of the coffee brewer will help extend the life of the brewer by
removing hard water deposits that may be present in tap water. This can result in better-
tasting coffee for the life of the coffee brewer. Hamilton Beach recommends cleaning the
coffee brewer with vinegar once every two weeks. If you have tap water with large
amounts of hard water deposits, it may be necessary to clean the coffee brewer more
often.

seconds and wait 30 minutes. Press
ON (I). Press OFF (O) when finished.

Pour 1 pint (2 cups/500 ml) vinegar
into water reservoir.
