• Align the mating surface (A)
of the throttle case with the
punch mark (B) on the han-
dlebars and tighten the throt-
tle case bolts to the specified
torque.
Tightening torque
Throttle case bolt: 3 N·m (0.3
kgf-m, 2.0 lbf-ft)
• Set the boot onto the throttle
case securely.
5. Reinstall the existing balancer
and screw that was removed
step 1.
Installation of Grip Heater (L) E
1. Loosen the screw of balancer
with a + driver several turns
and pull the balancer assembly
out of the handlebars.
NOTE: Loosen the screw only
enough to remove the bal-
ancer. Otherwise, the bal-
ancer may disassemble
and some
may remain in the handle-
bar.
