REMOVING AND INSTALLING BLADES

WARnInG: to avoid injury from accidental starting I al-
ways turn the switch off ("o") and remove power cord
plug from power source before removing or replacing the
blade.
A. Plain End Blade
a 1 Removing blade
1. to remove the blade, loosen tension on blade by first lifting
up the Quick Release tension lever. (Fig 1)
2. loosen the upper set screw on the side of the upper blade
Holder. (Fig 2)
3. loose the lower set screw by inserting the t-¬Wrench
through the Access Hole on the side of the upper blade Hold-
er. (Fig 2)
4. Remove blade from the upper and lower blade Holders by
pulling forward and lifting the blade through the Access Hole
in the table. (Fig 3)

a 2 Installing blade
1. to install the blade, insert the blade through the Access
Hole in the table. (Fig 3)
nOte: In order to avoid uncontrollable lifting of the workpiece,
the teeth of the blade should always point downward.
2. Insert the blade into the lower blade Holder slot then tight-
en set screw. (Fig 4)
3. Insert the other end of blade into the upper blade Holder
slot and then tighten set screw. (Fig 4)
Slightly downward pressure against the upper arm maybe
helpful when installing the blade into upper blade Holder. (Fig
5)
4. tighten the tension on the blade by lowering the Quick ten-
sion lever and turning the lever clockwise. Check the ten-
sions on blade, if too loose, turn lever clockwise; if too tight,
turn lever counterclockwise. (Fig-6)
nOte: If the blade is over tightened, the lever is difficult to
be lowered.
