Cable mapping
To test UTP/STP/SFTP Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat3 cables, connect both
terminals RJ-45 or RJ-11/12 to the transmitter and receiver, set the power and
function switch to the "TEST" position, the "VERIFY" LED will blink, and will begin
to process cable allocation.
Use the function button to change the scanning speed.
Direct: all 1 ~ 8/S conductors of the UTP/STP cable are connected, the LEDs 1 ~
8/G light up in order both the transmitter and the receiver. The "G" LED indicates
connection to the mesh or no connection.
Crossover: all cable conductors 1 ~ 8/S of the UTP/STP cable are connected,
the LEDs 1 ~ 8/G both the transmitter and the receiver will light up in order, the
sequence of the indicators 1 ~ 8/G will not be the same as that on the receiver.
Offl ine: motorists 1 ~ 8/S of the UTP/STP cable are not connected, the LEDs
both the transmitter and the receiver 1 ~ 8/G related to these drivers not light; the
other LEDs will illuminate in order.
