2. Place the power and function switch on the "SCAN" position, the transmitter
will emit a dual frequency tone. If you want to change to single-frequency, press
the function button.
3. Press and hold the test button and place the probe closer to cable or wall
containing the cable. The speaker will sound when test probe is close to
proven cable (signal indicator also lights up). If you perform the test switching
equipment, and receiver sound near 2 or 3 wires, you need to fi nd the clearest
signal.
It probably be switching equipment signal interference due to network. If
possible, turn off these devices.
Connection/telecommunication cables short tests
Slide the power and switch to the "TEST" position
change and press the test button for 2 seconds. The
"VERIFY" LED will illuminate.
Connect the Caymans to test cable RJ-11 plug
terminals.
