RECOMMENDED CLEANING AND RINSING
METHODS
- For daily cleaning of the M-5, M-10, M-15,
PE-15 and M-25 peelers, the disc and other
areas which are in contact with the potato-
es should be cleaned immediately after
use.
- The machines should be run empty for a
few minutes with the water valve open. This
allows the interior of the cylinder to be cle-
aned and the drain pipe to be emptied.
- With the PE-15 machine, proceed as above
as long as the disc has been replaced with
the draining basket.
- The outside of the machine MUST NOT be
sprayed with water. Use a damp cloth and
any standard detergent.
- Do not use bleach, aggressive chemical
products or metal scourers as they can
damage the stainless steel.
OTHER IMPORTANT COMMENTS
- If the power lead is damaged and needs to
be replaced, said replacement must only be
carried out by a SAMMIC approved techni-
cal service.
- Noise level of the machine in operation,
measured at a height of 1.6 metres and at
a distance of 1 metre, is less than 70 dB(A).
Background noise: 32 dB(A).
