installation
CS/STD/RSTX
1. Open the upper head of the sensing edge and remove the
resistive bar.
2. Cut the rubber sensing edge from the bottom, to the desired
size L fig. 1.
3. Cut the resistive bar from the top, to the desired size L-L1 fig. 1.
4. Remove the resistive circuit as shown in fig. 2 and appropriately
dispose the scraps of rubber and resistive bar.
5. Reassemble the circuit as indicated in fig. 3. ATTENTION to the
direction of orientation of the resistive bar (part. 4 fig. 3).
6. Ensure that the mounting surface is level and smooth.
7. Attach the brackets to the mounting surface (fig. 4) with screws
which are not supplied.
8. Install the sensing edge to brackets (fig. 5-6).
9. Remove the protective film from the batteries (part. 5 fig. 5).
WARNING: Do not use batteries other than those specified in the
Technical Specifications.
7
installation
CS/RX
Attach the receiver CS/RX on the automation structure using the
mounting holes with screws not supplied, as in fig. 9.
8
electrical connections
CS/STD/RSTX
Connect the resistive bar to terminals 1 and 2 on the transmitter
card of the sensing edge CS/STD/RSTX.
9
electrical connections
CS/RX
• Connect terminals 1 and 2 of the receiver card CS/RX to the
terminals COM and 24V of the control unit ROGER TECHNOLOGY.
The receiver is powered by 12-24 Vac/dc type SELV.
• Connect terminals 3 and 4 of the receiver card CS/RX to
the terminals COM and COS1 of the control unit ROGER
TECHNOLOGY.
• If present, connect terminals 5 and 6 of the receiver card CS/RX to the
terminals COM and COS2 of the control unit ROGER TECHNOLOGY.
• It is possible to associate the two-channel receiver with up to 4
sensing edges transmitters CS/STD/RSTX.
10
Programming
1. Power the receiver CS/RX with green LD3 lights.
2. SENSING EDGE COS1. Press the P1 button on the receiver CS/RX.
The green LED LD5 begins flashing and the buzzer activates a short
beep.
• Press and hold the P1 button of the sensing edge transmitter
CS/STD/RSTX to be associated. First the red LED LD1 of the
transmitter turns on, when it is turned off at the same time, the
green LED LD2 turns on.
• Release the P1 button, the green LED LD2 flashes and on the
receiver CS/RX the green LD5 turns on and the buzzer activates
a prolonged sound signal.
3. SENSING EDGE COS2. Press the P2 button on the receiver CS/RX.
The green LED LD4 begins flashing and the buzzer activates a short
beep.
• Press and hold the P1 button of the sensing edge transmitter
CS/STD/RSTX to be associated. First the red LED LD1 of the
transmitter turns on, when it is turned off at the same time, the
green LED LD2 turns on.
• Release the P1 button, the green LED LD2 blinks and on the
receiver CS/RX the green LD4 turns on and the buzzer activates
a prolonged sound signal.
4. Repeat the procedure in point 2 or point 3 to associate other
edges CS/STD/RSTX, for up to a maximum of 4 transmitters.
