4 ChargINg The helICOPTer
Attention: The battery and motor must cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before
charging and after every flight. Otherwise they can be damaged. The
charging process must be constantly monitored. Always ensure that the
charging process takes place on a fireproof surface in a fire-resistant
environment.
• Unplug the helicopter from the battery and switch off the remote control (4A).
• Connect the mains charging adapter to the Li-ion charging unit. Now insert the mains
adapter into an outlet. The red and green LEDs on the Li-ion charging unit now begins
to illuminate.
• Carefully plug the Balancer cable (white plug connector) of the Li-ion battery into the
charging unit (4B). Do not use force; the green LED will go out.
• The charging process lasts approx. 120-130 minutes and must be continuously
monitored. The green LED illuminates as soon as the battery is completely charged.
• Disconnect the battery from the charging unit and disconnect the charging unit from
the outlet after the charging is completed.
The helicopter can fly for approx. 7–8 minutes after a charge time of 120–130
minutes.
Warning notice: The Li-ion battery heats up while charging. If it should become hot
and/or changes to the surface begin to appear, immediately discontinue the charging
process!
5 STarT PreParaTION
The thrust control (the left control on the remote control) must point down before
switching on ( 5A). Then set the control switch of the remote control to the "ON"
position; the Power LED will illuminate (5B).
Connect the battery cable to the connection cable (5C). Place the helicopter on the
floor so that the tail is pointing in your direction (5D). The helicopter requires a few
seconds to initialise the gyro and establish a connection with the remote control. Move
the control for nicking and rolling – as soon as the swash plate moves, the helicopter is
ready to fly.

6 TrIM aDJUSTMeNT OF The CONTrOl
The correct trim is a basic requirement for fault-free flying behaviour of the helicopter.
The adjustment is easy, but requires some patience and feel. Please observe the
following instructions precisely: Carefully move the thrust control up and raise the
helicopter approximately 0.5 to 1 metre in altitude.
6A If the helicopter moves quickly on its own or slowly to the left or right ...
If the helicopter moves quickly on its own or slowly to the left, push the roll trim in
steps towards the right. If the helicopter moves to the right, press the roll trim in steps
towards the left.
6B If the helicopter rotates quickly or slowly on its own axis ...
If the helicopter rotates quickly on its own or slowly anti-clockwise on it own axis,
press the yaw trim to the right. If the helicopter rotates clockwise, press the yaw trim
to the left. Checking the roll trim can also help to remedy problems. In addition to the
display on the remote control, there is an acoustic display for trimming which makes
adjusting easier.
6C If the helicopter moves forwards or backwards quickly or slowly on its own ...
If the helicopter moves forward quickly or slowly on its own, press the nick trim down
in steps. If the helicopter moves backwards, press the nick trim up in steps. In addition
to the display on the remote control, there is an acoustic display for the trim, which
makes adjusting easier.
7 FlIghT CONTrOl
Note: Only minimal corrections of the controls are necessary for a smooth flying
behaviour of the helicopter!
7A In order to start or gain altitude,
carefully move the thrust/yaw control
forward.
7C To fly forward, carefully move the
nick/roll control forward.
7E To fly along to the left, carefully
move the nick/roll control to the left,
as long as the helicopter tail is facing
toward the pilot.
7G To rotate the helicopter to the left,
move the thrust/yaw control to the left.
7B Move the thrust/yaw control back
for landing or to fly lower. Only minimal
corrections of the controller are necessary
for a smoothing flying behaviour of the
helicopter!
7D To fly backward, pull the nick/roll
control back carefully.
7F To fly to the right, carefully move
the nick/roll control to the right, as long
as the helicopter tail is facing toward
the pilot.
7H To rotate the helicopter to the right,
move the thrust/yaw control to the right.
