Troubleshooting

Problem
Converter will not power
on.
Converter is turned
"On" but does not
produce paper.
Feed or cut

Cause
1. On/Off switch is in "Off" position.
2. Power plug is defective.
3. Fuse is defective (melted).
4. Poor / defective connection.
1. Paper is torn on perforation.
2. Converter not reset.
3. Front/rear covers are open.
4. Emergency Stop button is activated.

1. Converter is out of paper.

Solution
1. Set the switch to the "On" position
2. Check the power plug (*).
3. Check the fuses (*).
4. Check the connections (*)
1. Reload the paper and reset the converter.
2. Press the Reset button to reset the converter.
3. Make sure the front/rear covers are closed.
4. Make sure the Emergency Stop button is not
engaged.
1. Remove paper jam:(*)
◦ Push the
simultaneously
◦ Pull remaining pads out of the converter
chute
◦ Reset the converter
◦ Paper should now feed normally;
1. Reload the paper and reset the converter.
If problem persists, check the angle of the
End of Web sensor or contact your Ranpak
Distributor Service Technician.
