DEALER SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
Always wear relatively tight and belted clothing to avoid getting
caught in moving parts. Wear sturdy, rough-soled work shoes and protec-
tive equipment for eyes, hair, hands, hearing, and head; and respirator or
filter mask where appropriate.
Assembly of this cutter is the responsibility of the Woods dealer. If should be
delivered to the owner completely assembled, lubricated, and adjusted for nor-
mal cutting conditions.
Complete Dealer Check Lists, page 34 when you have completed the assem-
bly.

The cutter is shipped partially assembled. Assembly will be easier if aligned
and loosely assembled before tightening hardware. Recommended torque val-
ues for hardware are located in the Bolt Torque Chart, page 32.
Disassemble Shipping Unit
Refer to Figure 28.
1.
Position cutter flat and place a block underneath the rear of the cutter to
raise it off the ground.
2.
Remove all parts that are wired or strapped to cutter. Remove parts from
manual tube and hardware that is securing tailwheel bracket (6) and
brace arms (8) to cutter.
