Battery charge and battery charger operation
Charge the battery pack (1) every day during normal use.
The charge cycle is complete when the display (2) of the battery (1) is off and the Led light on the battery charger (18) is
green. A complete recharge requires 2-3 hours.
WARNING!
After having inserted the male connector of the battery charger (18) in the female connector (6) of the battery (1),
position the front part of the battery (1) on a stable surface.
WARNING!
Use the battery charger (18) indoor in a dry place.
WARNING!
Unplug the battery charger (18) when the battery pack (1) has been recharged.
Do not leave the battery charger (18) plugged in when recharge is over.

Troubleshooting
WARNING!
All special maintenance operations shall be carried out only by well-trained personnel.
FAULT
The tool does not work.
The tool is not powerful
enough.
Temporary tool stopping
during the
use.
The tool cannot be
operated.
NOTE!
If the above-mentioned remedies do not solve the problem, contact an Authorised Service Point.

Tool transport
Disconnect the tool from the power supply cable (19) before carrying it. In case of long transports keep the tool in its
packaging.
WARNING!
Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product Description". Any other use may cause injuries.
6.1
Routine maintenance
WARNING!
•
Before performing any routine maintenance operation, switch off the battery (1) with the ON/OFF button (8) and
disconnect the tool power supply cable (19) from the battery (1).
•
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed by an Au-thorised
Service Point.
The routine maintenance operations may be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1
General
Before any routine maintenance operation:
Switch off the battery pack (1).

Disconnect the power supply cable (19) from the battery pack (1).
•
Wear heavy-duty protective gloves.

CAUSE
The battery pack (1) is
•
The battery pack (1) is off.
•
The tool is not power supplied.
•
The battery pack (1) is
flat.
The motor overheating is due to
thick trees. The current limits
have been exceeded.
The tool has not been calibrated. Switch the tool off and then on again calibrating the

flat.
Recharge the battery (1).

Switch on the battery pack (1) by means of the

ON/OFF button (8).
Check the connection (5) between the battery (1)
•
and the tool.
Recharge the battery (1).
Move away from the plant, wait for the automatic un-
locking phase and start the tool again.
