10 - PRECAUTIONS IN THE CASE OF STORING AND/OR FREEZING
If the unit is to be stor ed in a place wher e there is
risk of fr eezing, or it is to r emain unused for mor e
than three months, we r ecommend placing some
antifreeze solution into the pump, (a normal anti-
freeze as used in your vehicle is suf
doubt, at fr eezing temperatur es or after any long
storage time, we suggest you tur n the motor with
the key pr ovided befor e starting, to r elease any
possibilities of block-ages fr om freezing or a build
up of lime scale deposits.
Taking these precautions before starting, will avoid
damage to the unit.
Remember to r emove the key fr om the motor
before switching on the machine.
• Maintenance and repairs should always be performed by trained and authorised personnel.
• Before carrying out any cleaning, maintenance and/or parts r eplacement, disconnect the
machine from the power mains, removing the plug from the power outlet.
• Proper maintenance favours a longer duration of operation and impr oved performance.
• Periodically check the conditions of the washer , pressurised parts (pipe, fittings, lance) and
the electrical cable (see "General war nings for use").
Check for any water or oil leaks and/or malfunctions.
If necessary, replace affected parts.
