1. EQUIPMENT

1.1. High quality equipment
The air handling unit (AHU) has been designed and built using high-performance equipment currently available on the
European market, in particular:
• A powerful 265 pascal (Pa) fan, capable of generating a maximum flow rate of up to 185 m
air (excluding pressure drops) and of withstanding operating temperatures of 70°C.
• Heating resistors with electro-galvanized fins and heating elements under stainless steel tubes.
• Computer-controlled electronics to combine performance and management of all temperature control parameters,
air flow rates and the state of clogging of the filter media.
• A frame treated on all its surfaces and assembled with stainless steel screws.
1.2. Refined manufacturing
Each unit is subjected to a series of rigorous tests at the end of its manufacturing process before being accepted.
In addition to these tests, all the units are individually checked in preliminary operational tests.
The equipment complies with the following EC standards:
EN 55014-1 (2006) ; EN 55014-2 (2008) ; EN 61000-3-2 (2006) ; EN 61000-3-3 (2005). EN 60335-2-30:2003 ;
A1:2004 ; A2:2007 EN 60335-1:2002 ; A1:2004 ; A11:2004 ; A12:2006 ; A2:2006 EN 50366:2003 ; A1:2006.
1.3. Safety fuses for every function
The ventilation and heating function is interrupted if any component or object malfunctions and disrupts its proper operation.
The electronics and the fan are protected by a 1.25A blow fuse.
The heating resistors are protected by another 6.3AT blow fuse.
The unit is protected by a thermal fuse in case of overheating due to a failure of one of the management systems. In all cases
of failure, the unit automatically switches to the safety position, stops, and the control module shows the shutdown with an
error message.

2. USE

2.1. Important warnings

The air handling unit (AHU) is designed to deal with condensation problems in the room(s) for which it is intended. It can in
no way replace a ventilation system.
Your unit must be installed by an approved installer and all technical interventions, apart from the replacement of the filter
carried out by you, must be carried out by one of our staff.
Any intervention, apart from filter replacement, will invalidate the guarantee.
We reserve the right to make changes in order to improve the performance of the equipment. The electrical line, where the
power supply to the unit is connected, must comply with the standards in force at the time of installation. If the electrical ins-
tallation requires improvements or changes, have them carried out by a qualified electrician.
The main cover, which gives access to the various components of the appliance, may be opened only by a person competent
in the field.
Improper handling inside the appliance can cause electric shocks!
This unit may be used by children only as of the age of 8 years and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are under supervision or if they have been instructed in the safe use of
the appliance and understand the dangers involved. Children should not play with the unit. Cleaning and maintenance must
not be carried out by children without supervision
WE ADVISE YOU NOT TO PLACE ANYTHING ON THE AIR HANDLING UNIT,
NOT TO OPEN IT, AND TO AVOID ANY SPLASHING WATER.
IF THE UNIT IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET:
To enable us to keep an eye on your AHU, please do not disconnect the following devices:
Your Internet box, the Etairbox connected physically to your box, the CTA4 and its
control module.
