INTENDED USE

This tool set is made for bleeding the low pressure side on Diesel fuel systems and is required when

renewing diesel filters, pump or other components of the diesel fuel injection systems. The set prevents

defects of high pressure pumps (CDI) which frequently occur renewing filters without manual filling. The Kit

includes 6 different adapter hoses and hand pump with valve. The set is suitable for vehicles from

manufacturers Ford, PSA, Opel, Fiat, Rover, Land Rover, Renault and Mercedes-Benz.

WARNING

• Do not use this kit on high pressure circuits. Disregard of this safety warning can result in personal

injury and damage !

• Attention! Avoid skin and eye contact with fuels. When you working with fuels always wear fuel-

resistant gloves and safety glasses !

• Use this tool set only for the intended purpose.

• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the working area.

• Keep this tool out of children reach.

• Keep working area clean, tidy, dry and free from unrelated materials and make sure the work area is

well lit.

INSTRUCTIONS

Identify the best place to connect into the vehicle's low pressure fuel circuit.

Select the appropriate pair of pipes to connect into the system.

For PSA (Citroen / Peugeot) systems that use 10 mm connections only, the double ended 10 mm male

pipe is required to convert one connection to male.

All the pipe pairs are equipped with one male 10 mm PSA end to allow connections to the supplied

pump unit.

Ensure the direction of flow on the vehicle matches that for the pump unit.

Use the 19 mm bleed valve to bleed off any excessive amount of air, close the valve when neat fuel is

seen.

Continue pumping fuel until clear fuel (no bubbles) is seen in the fuel filter exit pipes.

CARE POINT

To preserve the seal integrity within the connections smear a small amount of washing up liquid on the

connecting parts.
