Functional description
The manually operated and portable lawn
trimmer is driven by an electric motor.
As the cutting device, the lawn trimmer
has a thread reel with a tap mechanism. In
the cutting process, a nylon thread rotates
about an axis vertical to the cutting level.
To protect the user, the equipment has a
protective device, which covers the cutting
device. Please refer to the descriptions be-
low for how the operating parts work.
Assembling instructions
Always disconnect the plug before
working on the trimmer and wait
until the cutting lines have com-
pletely stopped. There is the dan-
ger of electric shock and the pos-
sibility of injury by the cutting lines.
Assembling the protection
cover:
1. Push the protective cover (9) into
the guide rail on the bottom of
the motor housing (8).
2. Fix the safety cover with the two
screws (13).
Plug together the equipment:
3. Plug together the top (6) and
bottom (7) tubes. They click in
audibly.

must point in one direction here

Ensure that the cable is not
jammed or twisted.
Once the tubes have been plugged
together, they can no longer be
separated.
Operation
Use the equipment only if it is
fully assembled. Before each
use, check the function of the
equipment. Ensure that the sup-
ply voltage matches the rating
plate on the equipment. Always
wear eye protection when work-
ing with the lawn trimmer.

concerning noise protection.
Switching ON and OFF
1. Form a loop in the end of the ex-
tension cable, conduct it through
the opening in the handle (2) and
hang it on to the strain relief (3)
2. Connect the trimmer to the mains
socket.
3. Ensure a safe stance and hold
the equipment firmly with both
hands. Do not deposit the cutting
head on the ground.
4. To switch on depress the ON
/ OFF switch (1). Release the
switch to switch off.
