Bleeding the hydraulic system

of the wheel-free scissor lift

This section only applies to lifting platforms
equipped with a wheel-free scissor lift.
1. Move the runway as far up as possible and set down
in the top latch.
2. Set the mode selector switch to position 2
(wheel-free scissor lift).
3. Take suitable measures to catch escaping hydraulic
fluid.
4. Open the bleed screws slightly on both wheel-free
scissor lift cylinders.

5. Press and hold the "Lift" button (o) until hydraulic
fluid containing no bubbles escapes.
6. Firmly tighten the bleeder screws.
7. Mop up the escaped hydraulic fluid.
8. Raise and lower the wheel-free scissor lift several
times with the "Lift" (o) and "Lower" (u) buttons.
Use the emergency button in the operating unit,
if necessary.
9. Repeat the bleeding procedure again if required,
then fully lower the wheel-free scissor lift.
10. Check the fluid level. The fluid level must be
above the red line in the level indicator.Accurately

3.7.1
Preparations
1. Raise the runway to a height of approx. 1 meter
using the "Lift" button in the operating unit.
2. Make sure the wheel-free scissor lift is completely
lowered.

Accurately positioning runway 1

1. Raise runway 1 using a crane and harness.
2. Pull out the wooden blocks from under the raised
runway.
3. Set down the runway on the foundations so that
the small base plate (fixed bearing) is accurately
positioned.

See section 6 for the installation plan of the base
plates.
4. Raise the side onto which the vehicle is driven
slightly again and accurately position the large base
plate (loose bearing).
5. Fit two connecting braces between the locating
bearing and floating bearing of runway 1.

The connecting braces ensure that the base plates
are correctly spaced and in parallel. The base plates
and connecting braces must be at right angles to
one another.
3.7.3
Accurately positioning runway 2
1. Raise runway 2 using a crane and harness.
2. Accurately position runway 2 as described above.
3. Fit two connecting braces between the locating
bearing and floating bearing of runway 2.
4. Finally, check the following points again:

The runways must be parallel.
$
The distance between the runways must be
correct.
$
The ends of the runways must be flush.
