9.3

Emergency lowering

If the power supply fails, a raised vehicle can be
lowered using the emergency lowering function.
!
Emergency lowering must only be performed by
specially trained personnel.
1. Deploy a second person to monitor the lowering
process.
2. Block the detent lock so that it cannot engage
in the toothing during the lowering process.
3. Unscrew the front panel of the operating unit.
4. Make sure that no persons or objects are in the
hazardous area.
5. Carefully turn the rotary knob at lowering valve Y3
to open it.
 The lifting platform lowers.
6. Once the lowering process is complete, turn the
rotary knob at lowering valve Y3 to close it again.
