Bad Credential Lockout allows operator to restrict
access to the lock if multiple invalid attempts are
entered. Customize the number of bad attempts
and minute time range where bad attempts were
entered and amount of time user is locked out of
cabinet.
8. Temperature Lock should not be selected.
NOTE: This is also the screen where the operator
can set time zone, keypress volume and door
switch alarm.
9. Click Save and Close once operator is finished.
10. Plug the laptop into the lock using the USB cable.
Ensure software is open on screen, and data will
automatically sync.
ADDING AND EDITING USERS
NOTE: Users can either be created in Lock/User
Editor tab or Wizards tab.
NOTE: To finalize any created/edited users,
laptop must be plugged into lock using
USB cable. LockView must be open on the
laptop and data will automatically sync. Blue
load bar on the bottom of the screen will
indicate once the sync is complete. Will take
approximately 15-20 seconds. Menu on screen
should say "In Sync" on bottom in green when
successfully connected to cabinet.
NOTE: PINs created for each user are
encrypted and cannot be viewed within the
software. Operator should keep user PINs noted
in a secure location in case a user forgets PIN.

Click on the Lock/User Editor tab on the left-hand side
of the screen. Click User Editor tab. (See Figure 9)

2. Click Add User and fill out information on right side
of screen.
a. Credential Type for this cabinet is Pushbutton.
Ensure this type is selected.
b. Create Pushbutton PIN for the new user.
i. Passwords are encrypted once saved in the
software.
c. There is an option to select Supervisor, Passage
Mode or Dual Credential for each new user.
If none of these options are selected, the
user will have standard access using their PIN
(Recommended for normal use).
i. Supervisor: Allowed to program and add
users to locks without the LockView software.
ii. Passage Mode: Ability to keep the lock
unlocked until another passage mode PIN
is entered. For a passage mode user to set
the lock into passage mode, user must enter
their PIN and press Enter on keypad. While
lock is unlocked press Enter on keypad
again. Lock will remain unlocked until
another passage mode PIN is entered. The
lock must also be set to recognize passage
mode to use this ability. (Refer to Page 3)
iii. Dual Credential: Two PINs are required for
user to enter the cabinet. Primary PIN must
be entered first.
