Always use clamping fixtures or holders
that are suitable to securely fasten round
workpieces, such as dowel pins, rods or
pipes. Rods have a tendency to turn while sawing
them. This causes the saw teeth to become wedged
and pull the workpiece with your hand into the saw
blade.
Do not use another person as a substitute
for a table extension or an additional
support. Unstable supporting of the workpiece
can cause jamming of the saw blade. The work-
piece can slip during the sawing and pull you and
the helper into the rotating saw blade.
Remove all nails and metal objects from the work-
piece before beginning to work.
Make sure that all clamping knobs and clamps are
tightened before beginning to work.
Remove the spanner from the fastening screw of the
saw blade before switching the machine on.
Do not operate the saw when there are
still tools or wood scraps next to the
workpiece on the saw table. Small frag-
ments, loose pieces of wood or other objects that
come into contact with the rotating saw blade can
be thrown at the operator with high speed.
Never cross your hands over the imagi-
nary cutting line. Holding the workpiece "over
cross", e.g. the left side of the workpiece with the
right hand, is very dangerous.
Do not guide the workpiece into the saw
blade or do not saw "freehand" in any
other manner. The workpiece must
securely face flat on the saw table, be
clamped or be manually held. The saw must
be guided slowly through the workpiece, and at a
speed that does not overload the motor of the saw.
Wait until the saw blade has reached the
maximum speed before touching the
workpiece. This prevents workpieces from being
thrown off.
Only saw one workpiece per operation.
Multiple workpieces cannot be sufficiently clamped
or held, and can jam the saw blade or move during
the sawing.
When the workpiece or saw blade jams
or gets stuck, switch the saw off immedi-
ately. Wait until all moving parts have
come to a stop and pull the mains plug.
Free the jammed material or part. Continu-
ing to saw in jammed material can lead to acci-
dents and damage the saw.
When the saw blade suddenly jams, a
counter-torque develops, which can lead
to kickback. Release the On/Off switch immedi-
ately when the saw blade jams or gets stuck.
When pushing down or holding the work-
piece or removing wood chips, do not
reach into the rear, unsecured area of the
saw blade and the fence. The closeness of the
rotating saw blade to your hand is not evident; dan-
ger of serious injury!
The cut off workpiece may not jam or be
pressed against the rotating saw blade
for other reasons. For example, when it is
jammed by a length stop or fence, it can become
wedged in the saw blade and be violently thrown
from the machine.
Raise the saw blade out of the cut in the workpiece
before switching the saw off.
Do not attempt to stop the machine when
running at high speed by pushing a tool
or other object against the saw blade. This
could lead to serious injuries.
Resetting the saw head to the starting
position may not be hindered through
sawdust, chips or other deposits. Other-
wise, the saw blade cover/guard cannot
close completely. High risk of injury from the
unprotected saw blade.
Do not cut or saw metal materials. The
developing metal dust can influence the protective
insulation and cause an electric shock.
Do not drill into housing or attach rivets in order to
mark the unit. The double insulation is then no
longer ensured. Use stickers.
Use only original Würth accessories.

Do not direct the laser beam at per-
sons or animals and do not stare into
the laser beam yourself. This power
tool produces laser class 3 laser radi-
ation according to EN 60825-1. This
can lead to other persons being
blinded.
