Assembling
Releasing the Transport Safety-lock
(figure 6)
Press the saw head 1 down a little, loosen the lever of
the transport safety-lock 2 and move the saw head
upward.
Table Assembly (figure 2)
To ensure safe handling, the machine must be mounted
on a suitable support (e.g. a wooden table, work-
bench, etc.). Depending on applicational purpose, the
saw can be mounted stationary or flexible.
When mounting the saw, ensure that the work table is
positioned stable. The recommended working height is
90 cm.
Insert bolts into bolt holes 3 and fasten the machine to
the workbench with the fitting nuts.
Mounting the Handle
The handle has to be mounted before putting into oper-
ation for the first time. Follow the instructions on the
instruction label.
Working Position of the Handle
(figure 8)
Disengage the lever for locking the handle 4 and tilt
the handle 5 to its highest position.
Engage the lever for locking the handle 4 again.
Mounting/Replacing the Saw
Blade (figures 1 + 12)
Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
The saw blade teeth are very sharp and
can cause injuries. Wear protective
gloves when mounting and replacing the
saw blade!
Use only saw blades whose maximum
permitted speed is higher than the no-
load speed of the power tool.
Use only saw blades that are approved
and released by Würth, and correspond
with the Standard EN 847-1.
Use only saw blades suitable for sawing
the materials to be cut.
HSS saw blades may not be used.
Disengage the lever for locking the table 6 and raise
the table to its highest position.
Press the saw blade lock 7 and slowly turn the saw until
it engages.
Loosen the blade bolt 8 with the Allen key.
Move the saw blade upward and remove it.
Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Please note
that the arrow for the running direction on this saw
blade is aligned identical to the one on the retracting
blade guard. (figure 23)
When assembling, please observe that the outer
clamping flange fits exactly into the recesses at the end
of the axle. After assembling, turn the flange a little until
the saw blade lock 7 releases. (figure 24)
Initial Operation
Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of
the power source must correspond with the data on
the type plate of the machine.
Before using, release the transport
safety-lock.
Adjusting the Tilting Head (figure 2)
For 90° adjustment of the saw blade to the table of the
machine, set a 90° try square between saw blade and
table and continue as follows:
Loosen the tilting-head lock 9 and correct possible
deviations with screw 10. The tilting head can also be
set at 45° to the base with screw 11.
Adjusting the Rotating Saw Table
(figure 10)
The machine is equipped with automatic detents for
0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°.
When readjustment is required, set the machine to 0°.
