Conditions of use

Follow local regulations on operating con-

ditions for hot-water heating systems.
Follow local regulations on water quality.

Observe the limitations on use in damp

rooms in accordance with local conditions.
Only use the radiator in closed heating systems.

Only transport and store the radiator in the

protective packaging.
► Observe the minimum distances between
the radiator and ambient parts to ensure
air circulation: 50 mm.
With auxiliary electrical operation:
Please note that electrical units may only be
►
installed in certain areas in rooms with bath
and shower facilities when choosing the in-
stallation site. Observe the corresponding
local regulations.
Only operate the heating element with the
►
rated voltage (see rating plate).
Complaints
Contact the supplier.

Disposal
Take the packaging and parts not required
►
to a recycling centre or authorised waste
management facility. Observe the local
regulations.

Installation
Put down the radiator with installed heating
element (IDV11) so that the cable is not bent
or damaged.

Preparatory activities (see Fig. 1–9)
In the case of auxiliary electrical operation
►
ensure that a properly installed connector
socket (30 V, 16 A fuse) is available within
the range of the cable.
Check the delivery for completeness and
►
damage.
Lay out any tools that are required.
►
Remove the installation protective packag-
►
ing only at the fastening and connecting
points.
Viewed from the front of the radiator, the factory
layout is that the supply line (SL/VL - lower hole
open) is on the left and the return line (RL - upper
hole open) on the right (see Fig. A).
In order to swap the supply line and return
►
line: Exchange the grub screws in the con-
nection pieces.
Screw the screwed connection tightly onto
►
the connection piece.
Screw in the vent plugs.
►
► Screw in and tighten the long fastening
screws into the upper sleeves.
Screw in and tighten the short fastening
►
screws into the lower sleeves.
With auxiliary electrical operation: Tighten
►
the heating element with a torque of 0 Nm.
If appropriate, install any accessories in-
►
cluded in the scope of delivery, such as a
towel rod, (see separate instructions).
Mount the upper fastenings (see Fig. 10–13)
Mark the drill holes (see Fig. A).
►
Drill the holes and insert the anchors.
►
► At the wall adapters screw out the securing
screws and pull out the retainers.
Screw on the wall adapters with hexagon
►
socket screws. Take the position of the drill
hole into account.
Insert the retainers into the wall adapters.
►
Take the position of the openings into ac-
count.
Only screw on the retainers handtight with
►
the securing screws. This allows the retain-
ers to still be moved for alignment.
Pre-install the lower spacers (see Fig. 14–15)
► Use a knife to cut the two snap-in bolts at the
second marking to the dimension 9 mm.
Install both spacers on the radiator.
