Install QBack backup software
To perform QBack-25S's unique hands-free Auto-backup or Schedule backup as well as Instant backup, please
install the QBack software on your notebook or PC.
Step 1. Run the QBack CD-ROM on your computer. Click Install QBack on the screen.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista operation system, due to the higher level of security, the following
message will be shown when you try to install QBack. To install QBack, click Continue.
Step 2. Select a language. Click OK to continue.
Step . Click Yes to view the installation instruction or click No to execute QBack setup immediately.
Step 4. When QBack Setup Wizard is shown, please follow the instructions to install QBack.

Format and Partition Hard Drive
You can partition the hard drive of QBack-25S into two hard disks, i.e.
public disk and secure disk. Enter the disk size of the public disk or
use the slide bar to adjust the public and secure disk space.
The public disk is for open access, and the secure disk is protected by
AES 256-bit encryption. A self-defined password to access the secure
disk is required.
For security concern, we recommend you to back up your data to the
secure disk. Be sure you partition enough storage capacity for data
backup.
