Product Overview
Introduction
SilverStone Technology's external storage devices, the TS421S and TS821S
are 4-bay and 8-bay storage towers with Mini-SAS interface that support four
and eight 2.5" HDD/SSD and hot-swap function. For security, each drive tray
also has metal key lock. Built-in cooling fan behind the chassis ensures drive
and run cool for extended life. Meanwhile, in order to allow common users
can also enjoy high-speed transmission experience with Mini-SAS, SilverStone
provide complete cables and adapters. Includes Mini-SAS SFF-8088 to
Mini-SAS SFF-8088 cable, Mini-SAS SFF-8087 to SATA 7 pin cable, power
adapter card and Mini-SAS adapter, the integrated package providing
consumers with superior external storage solution.

* Prior to installing power adapter card (ECP01), please calculate your computer's total power consumption to determine if you have enough power to support this card. You should set aside
60W from the power supply to TS421S or 120W from the power supply to TS821S.
* Make sure your computer case has enough expansion slots available for used, TS421S will occupy two slots. TS821S will occupy three slots.
* Your system must have SAS controller if you want to use SAS HDD.
* Hard drive capacity and RAID support is dependent on SAS or SATA controller used.
