TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
No power
Strange smell
The water in the water
tank is discoloured.
Limescale formation in
the cooling unit
Possible cause
The power plug of the
unit is not plugged in.
The unit is not turned
on.
The outlet has no
power.
The top cover is not
properly seated on the
appliance.
The cooling unit is new.
The water tank or
cooling unit is dirty.
The water tank may
be old.
New cooling unit.
Use water with a high
lime content.
Suggested solution
Plug the power plug of
the appliance into the
wall socket.
Press the POWER
button to turn on the
power.
Check the fuses or try
another power outlet.
Remove the top cover
and attach it properly.
A new cooling unit
may give off an odour
of its own. This will
disappear after a few
days.
Follow the instructions
in the "Cleaning and
Care" section.
Replace the water tank.
The discoloration will
no longer occur if the
appliance has been in
use for a few days.
Use distilled water.
