NOTES:
(7) This parameter is used to detect the presence of the notch. In order
to better identify the optimum threshold for the paper being used,
a paper characterization function is also available in the SETUP.
(8) If the "Notch Position" parameter is set to "Disabled" this parameter
doesn't appear in the "Printer Setup" report.
(9) The "Notch distance" parameter represents the distance in mm
from the upper margin of the ticket to the black mark on the ticket.
For example, to set notch distance to 15 mm, modify the following
parameters in order to obtain the desired values as indicated: Notch
Distance [mm x 10]=1; Notch Distance [mm x 1]=5; Notch Distance
[mm x .1]=0.
(10) The "Ticket locking" parameter is used to set the ticket block when
the paper is inside the printer.
The available values are:
• By Printer: the motor remain switched on also at the printing
end.
• By Feeder: stops the paper of the not active (idle) feeders in
order to avoid that the paper parked in a idle feeder, is dragged
inside the printer.
• Complete: ticket locking by printer and feeder (combination
of the two previous effects).
(11) If the "Short Ticket" parameter is set to "Enabled", it is possible to
manage ticket with length less than the distance between the notch
sensors and the printing line, for example ISO credit card size tickets
54mm (2 1/4") long.

(7) Questo parametro è utilizzato per identifi care la presenza del notch.
Nel Setup è anche presente una funzione di caratterizzazione carta
per meglio identifi care il valore ottimale di soglia da settare per il
tipo di carta utilizzata.
(8) Se il parametro "Notch Position" è "Disabled", questo parametro
non compare nel rapporto di Setup.
(9) Il parametro "Notch distance" rappresenta la distanza in mm tra
il margine superiore del biglietto e la tacca nera sul biglietto. Per
esempio, per impostare una distanza di notch di 15 mm, occorre
modifi care i parametri come segue: Notch Dist. [mm x 10]=1; Notch
Dist. [mm x 1]=5; Notch Dist. [mm x .1]=0.
(10) Il parametro "Ticket Locking" permette di impostare il blocco del
biglietto, quando la carta è dentro alla stampante. I valori possibili
sono:
• By Printer : il motore rimane attivo anche a fi ne stampa
• By Feeder : blocca la carta dei caricatori non attivi; serve
per evitare che la carta parcheggiata nel caricatore non attivo
venga trascinata all'interno della stampante.
• Complete: il blocco viene effettuato dalla stampante e
dal gruppo di caricamento (combinazione dei due precedenti
effetti).
(11) Il parametro "Short Ticket" se abilitato permette la gestione di ticket
con lunghezza carta inferiore alla distanza tra i sensori di notch e
la linea di stampa, ad esempio per biglietti tipo carta di credito con
lunghezza formato ISO di 54mm (2 1/4").
