FONTS MANAGEMENT
Gestione dei fonts
It is possible to store new font in addition to default fonts
stored on Flash Disk. Fonts may be stored both on Flash
Disk and on the Memory Card.
The use of the Memory Card allows to handle more fonts
(however, the max number of manageable fonts is limited
by the RAM memory reserved for fonts management).
Embedded Web Server
To add a new font to the printer enter the "FONT SET-
TINGS" page of the "PRINTER SUPPORT" section of the
embedded Web Server.
Mass Storage / FTP Server
It is possible to add the new font directly into the folder
"FONTS" on the Flash Drive of the printer.
You can enter the Flash Drive by fi les sharing from Mass
Storage or by fi les sharing from FTP Server connection.
In both cases, the relative parameter should be enabled
during the confi guration process.
NOTES:
• To know the IP address of the printer, print the Set-up report of the
printer or use "Locator" . Type in the address bar "ftp://" followed by
the IP address of the printer
• Uploading the new font directly from the "Font" folder of Microsoft
Windows directory, remember that the displayed font name into the

"Font" folder may not match the real name of the font fi le.
E' possibile memorizzare nella stampante nuovi font oltre
a quelli di default presenti su Flash Disk. I font possono
essere memorizzati sia su fl ash disk che su SD/MMC.
L'utilizzo di quest'ultima permette di avere un numero
molto maggiore di font a disposizione (il numero massi-
mo di font utilizzabile è comunque limitato dalla memoria
RAM a disposizione per la gestione font).
Embedded Web Server
Per aggiungere un nuovo font alla stampante, accedere
alla pagina "FONT SETTINGS" del Web Server interno
nella sezione "PRINTER SUPPORT".
Mass Storage / Server FTP
E' possibile copiare il nuovo font direttamente all'interno
della cartella "FONTS" presente su Flash Drive della
stampante.
Si può accedere al Flash Drive della stampante tramite
condivisione di fi le da Mass Storage o tramite connessio-
ne ad un server FTP.
In entrambi i casi, occorrerà abilitare il relativo parametro
durante la procedura di confi gurazione.
NOTE:
• Per conoscere l'indirizzo IP della stampante da utilizzare per la con-
nessione al server FTP, stampare il rapporto di Setup della stampante
o usare il software "Locator". Digitare poi nella barra degli indirizzi
"ftp://" seguito dall'indirizzo IP della stampante.

• Se si vogliono caricare sulla stampante dei fonts direttamente dalla cartella
"Font" di Microsoft® Windows®, ricordare che il nome del font che viene visualiz-
zato potrebbe non coincidere con il reale nome del fi le contenente il font.
