In Brazil, according to the Respiratory Protection Program of the Ministry
of Labor, do not use when concentrations of contaminants are greater
than 10 times the permissible exposure limit using a half facepiece or 100
times the permissible exposure limit using a full facepiece.
Assembly on Facepiece

1. Align cartridge notch with facepiece mark, as shown, and push together
(Fig. 1).

Time Use Limitations

Gas Cartridge 6009 and 3M™ Mercury Vapor, Chlorine or
Sulfur Dioxide Gas Cartridge 6009S
3M™ Mercury Vapor Cartridges (6009 and 6009S) are equipped with passive
3M™ End of Service Life Indicators (ESLI) for mercury vapor. The color
change indicator must be readily visible when wearing the respirator without
manipulation. If you cannot readily see the ESLI, do not use. The mercury
vapor cartridges must be discarded when the ESLI changes to the discard
color found on the mercury vapor cartridge label; or within 30 days of opening
packaging; or when ESLI becomes dirty or damaged; or when odors of vapors
or gases become noticeable; or according to chlorine or sulfur dioxide service
