removed by pushing the metal pivot out by means of a suitable pin. To reassemble push the pivot back in posi-
tion using both the pin and a light hammer. To re-assemble the harness let the strap tips pass in the special
loops keeping the knurled side downwards.
6.2 AC 190 Respirator
6.2.1 TR 82 or TR 2002
See specific instructions that come with the mask.
6.2.2 Replacement and cleaning of Overflow valve
• Unscrew valve cover.
• Take the spring out with membrane, clean with a soft wet cloth. Reassemble correctly.
N.B.: If the overflow valve doesn't work properly after cleaning it has to be replaced
6.3 ACS 952 respirator
6.3.1 Replacement or cleaning of ACS 952 visors
• Unscrew the special knobs on the visor sides, then take the visor out, replace it if necessary.
Inside the mask, behind the glass lens, there is a safety polycarbonate lens. The replacement depends on
its transparency.
WARNING: NEVER USE THE HOOD WITHOUT THE POLYCARBONATE LENS, NOR INVERT THE POSI-
TIONING OF THE TWO VISORS. THIS MAY ENDANGER YOUR EYES.
6.3.2 Replacement or cleaning of exhale valves
• Pull the protective cap out.
• Pull the valve membrane out, clean or replace it.
6.3.3 Replacement or cleaning of head harness with comfort band
• The head harness can be easily removed by pulling the four anchorages inside the hood; clean or replace
if necessary.
6.3.4 Replacement or cleaning of the elastic chin strap
• The chin strap can easily be removed, cleaned or replaced taking it apart from the head harness by pulling
the two pin-buttons that keep it in place.
6.3.5 Replacement or cleaning of waistcoat
• The waist coat can be separated from the hood by pulling the pressure studs and the rubber profile. Clean
or replace if necessary.
To reassemble, insert the hood-hedge in profile groove first, paying attention it completely gets into the rub-
ber, fasten pressure studs afterwards.
7.
ACCESSORIES (not included in kits)
7.1 ACS 952 respirator
Filter unit, wall mounted or transportable, complete with pressure reducer for one or two men (P/N
151240000-151250000).
7.2 Feeding hoses
Hose cut of 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 30 - 50 meters.
Hoses can be provided with quick couplings type Spasciani or Eurocoupling, for the correct P/Ns please refer
to paragraph P/Ns and spare parts.
8.
MARKING
• Masks are marked as prescribed by the relevant standards.
• The part number is marked on: overflow valve, corrugated hose, flow regulator, inhalation and exhalation
membranes (if present) and on the feeding hoses.
• Corrugated hoses, valve membranes and face pieces are also marked with the year of production. Where
possible a rubber clock is present showing in the inner circle the year and with an arrow the month of pro-
