5) This appliance should be used in sufficiently aerated places in accordance with national regulations in force in terms of flow of air
for combustion and the possibility of accumulation of unburnt gas
6) Ignite away from face and clothing.

8) When filled, it will contain flammable gas under pressure
9) Do not expose the torch over 40°C / 104°F and to prolonged sunlight.
10) Do not puncture or put in fire.

18) Use only Kemper original spare parts.
Fill only with butane gas (our item 10051). It may be hazardous to attempt to fit other types Of gas.
Refill in a well-ventilated area, away from flame, combustible materials and other person.
Please make sure the fire is off before Refilling.
Placing the pocket torch in an upside down position, Insert the gas canister into the torch refilling valve
Fill slowly. Do not overfill. When gas start to Flow out, stop filling
After filling, wipe lighter and hands dry before Igniting.
The refilling operation takes some minutes to allow The gas to stabilize.
For next refilling, let the torch cool down for 5 Minutes before filling the tank.
Move the selector ① to ON position. An hiss will be heard (it is the gas coming out from the burner).
With care, approach a flame to the burner in order to ignite it.
Select the desired power by selector B (fig. 3).
It is recommended not to use the highest power of the flame because the gas consumption is higher and the
Flame is not constant.
For blowing out the torch, slide the selector ① on OFF position.
SOLDERING USE
Screw the soldering torch head D on the burner (fig. 4).
Screw the desired tip on the head D.
Use the thumb for moving the soldering head forward operating on the ring nut E and move the selector ①
to ON position. Approach a flame to the hole F. Release the ring nut. Attention: place the hole G upwards and not towards combustible
material (high Temperature air comes from the hole).
In order to allow the tip to get hot, 5-10 seconds are necessary.
Select the desired power by selector B.
For blowing out the torch, slide the selector ① on OFF position.
Use the holder H during inactivity period (the microtorch can be both on and off).
The soldering head can work for more than 200 hours without stopping but you have to let it get cold every
15 minutes of working in order to prevent the Overheating and the damage of the soldering torch.
The microtorch can work up to 60 minutes according to the flame intensity.
ATTENTION: in some lighting conditions the real length of the flame could be longer than the visible one.
Pay attention not to address the flame towards the face or other body parts and combustible materials.
REPLACEMENT OR INSTALLATION OF INSERTS
