IMPORTANT: The instruction manual you are holding includes essential information on the safety measures
to be implemented for installation and start-up. Therefore, the installer as well as the user must read the ins-
tructions before beginning installation and start-up.
Keep this manual for future reference.
To achieve optimum performance of the ESCALA projector, follow the instructions provided below:
1. VERIFY THE CONTENTS OF THE PACKING:
The following accessories are included inside the box:
• Projector
2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
This projector has been designed for use in and out of water.It is a class III electrical appliance designed to be run from
a safety extra-low voltage power source.
The projector complies with the IP68 protection rating, with a nominal immersion depth of 1 m.
This projector complies with international lighting safety standards, in particular with standard EN 60598-2-18.
3. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
If installed in water, make sure the main body is easy to handle from outside the water, or that it can be taken out without
difficulty.
Before handling the projector, turn the power supply OFF.
If this projector is installed in contact with water, it must be powered by a device that meets Safety Extra Low Voltage
(SELV) and standard 61347-2-13 requirements.
4. ASSEMBLY:
Use the screws supplied to affix the projector into the desired position
making sure they are aligned.
Mount the strip light onto the clamps, making sure that they completely fit
into the groove (Fig. 1).
Tools required that are not supplied:
- Size 2 Allen key
- Phillips screwdriver
5. SAFETY WARNINGS:
• Before any handling ensure that there is NO voltage supplied to
the projector.
• People in charge of assembly should be suitably qualified for this type of work.
• Avoid making contact with the electric voltage.
• Comply with the current standards regarding accident prevention.
• In this regard, the IEC 364-7-702 standards must be observed: WIRING IN BUILDINGS SPECIAL WIRING SWIM-
MING POOLS.
• Do not handle with wet feet.
6. ASSEMBLY AND FUNCTIONING WARNINGS:
• The manufacturer is not responsible in any circumstances for assembly, installation or start-up of any electric
components which have been inserted or handled at locations other than its own premises.
• It is responsibility of the installer to ensure that no water gets inside the projector by means of the cables.
• This projector is resistant to pool treatments described below, always that the concentration values do not
exceed the following levels:
Chlorine
Bromine
Salt electrolysis (Na Cl)
Attention : Please note that the Ph of pool water always must be between 7.2 and 7.6.
