When the outgoing air is carried back

into the room, a sufficient ventilation
rate L in the room must be ensured.
To comply with the required limit val-
ues the carried back volume flow
must be 50% of the fresh air volume
flow (room volume VR x ventilation
rate LW) at maximum. Without a spe-
cific ventilation system the following
applies: LW=1h–1.
Only persons trained in the use of the
–
machine and the handling of sub-
stances for which the machine is to be
used including training in the safe dis-
posal of the sucked-in material may
use the machine.
