10 Troubleshooting

DANGER
Risk of injury and device damage when handled by unauthorised persons
Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious injuries and damage to the device. The
product warranty will be rendered invalid if work is carried out on the product by unauthorised persons.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
CAUTION
• Suitable safety measures must be taken before performing maintenance and cleaning work.
• Maintenance and cleaning work must only be carried out on the extraction system in areas with locally filtered forced
ventilation.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
Please observe the attached 'Warranty' document. In the event of any doubts and/or problems, please contact your retailer
or ABICOR BINZEL.
NOTICE
• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
Fault
No complete fume detection.
Extraction volume too low.
External extraction system does not
start.
Dust escapes from the dust collecting
drawer.
Filter cleaning does not work.
Service LED is illuminated.

Cause
• Clean air outlet covered.
• Filter elements saturated.
• Extraction hose blocked.
• Extraction hose defective.
• Power supply defective.
• Electrical components defective.
• Carbon brushes defective.
• Dust collecting drawer not properly
sealed.
• Dust collecting drawer full.
• Compressed air supply faulty.
• Phases are reversed.
• Compressed air is not connected.
• Filter is worn.

Troubleshooting
• Keep the clean air outlet clear.
• Replace the filter elements.
• Clean the extraction hose.
• Replace the extraction hose.
• Check and replace if necessary.
• Check and install correctly.
• Empty the dust collecting drawer.
• Check and replace if necessary.
• Reverse back phases.
• Connect compressed air.
• Replace filter.
