For three-jaw chuck drills:
Open the jaws of chuck (2) completely, and by
means a screwdriver unwind the left-threaded se-
curing screw. Fix the drill spindle with an open end
spanner.
Put the special key for chuck tightening in one of the
three bores and rotate the chuck anti-clockwise, us-
ing the chuck key as a lever, to unscrew chuck (2)
from the drill spindle.
For keyless-chuck drills:
Grip rear collar of keyless chuck (2) and rotate front
collar until chuck is opened. By means a screwdriver
unwind the left-treaded securing screw. Insert and
fasten Allen key or screwdriver bit into the chuck.
Clamp the place for fixing the spindle (3) by means of
a spanner and rotate the chuck anti-clockwise by the
free end of the key (bit).
REcOmmEnDatiOnS FOR OpERatiOn
Apply moderate pressure during drilling in concrete
(approximately 80–100 N). Higher pressure will not
increase drilling efficiency, but it will lead to decreas-
ing the operation life of the machine. Drill at speed
lower than the maximum speed and select the speed
depending on the processed material.
Use carbide tipped straight shank drill bits. Take the
drill out of the opening from time to time to remove
dust.
Watch out the stage of blunting of the bit and replace
it if considerable decrease of efficiency is observed.
Before drilling large-diameter holes in metal, wood or
plastics, drill a small pilot hole.
The optimum capacity when drilling in concrete is up
to 8 mm, and the possible capacity is up to 13 mm.

Exterior plastic parts may be cleaned with a damp
cloth and mild detergent.
WaRNiNg: Although exterior plastic
parts are highly solvent resistant, never use sol-
vents!
impORtant! To assure product safety and reliabil-
ity, repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including
brush inspection and replacement) should be per-
formed by certified service centres or other qualified
service organisations, always using genuine replace-
ment parts.
