Blanking
Blanking must be set as follows:
1. Mount the LGT in its final position.
2. Switch off the supply voltage (or disconnect and reconnect
the reset jumper).
3. Set the "Blanking" mode: DIP switch 2.
4. Apply the supply voltage.
A digit now appears on the left- or right-hand seven-
segment display of the control unit, depending on whether
one or two light grids are connected to the control unit. The
digit shows how many beams are covered. After approx.
20 s, the seven-segment display showing "17" begins to
flash and the yellow LED on the control unit lights up. This
means that blanking has been stored. If more than
4 beams are covered, masking is not possible.
5. Deactivate the "Blanking" mode: DIP switches.
The blanking is now stored.
