6.4 Replacing the feeder press rolls
Before carrying out cleaning, maintenance, adjustment and
/ or replacement of any part, it is mandatory to set the main
switch to 0 (zero) and lock it with a padlock. Remove pressure
from the installation by disconnecting the safety valve and
lock it with a padlock. Check that all parts of the machine
are cool.
It is advisable to replace all the rollers on each track once
irregularities are observed in the advance of the panel or dis-
placements of the wood during the work of the units.
- To replace the pressure rollers, you must first remove the
feeder cover A, washers B, and screws C (Fig. 6.10-6.10.1-
6.10.2).
