Installation / Operation
AEXT SYSTEM INSTALLATION
AND OPERATION
NOTICE: Install this system during a time when the pri-
mary pump will not be needed. Gather all supplies
before starting. Read all the warnings and installation
steps before you start.
1. Place the AEXT battery box along side of the A5000
system cover.
2. Open the AEXT battery box and lower the new bat-
tery into it. See Figure 1.

3. Feed one set (one black and one red lead) of wires
from the AEXT control box through the ventilation
slot in the top of the A5000 cover. See Figure 2.

into wire opening of the
"Extender" cover.

4. Open the A5000 cover and attach the wires as illus-
trated in Figure 3.
Unplug the A5000 Transformer
from the wall outlet before
connecting the Batteries.

5. Close and lock the covers of the Battery Backup
System and the AEXT Kit. Do not store the battery
box on the floor. See Figure 4.
