BEFORE LIGHTING
Clean with a soft damp cloth and the pizza oven should be used outdoors only. Using indoors, even in a
garage or shed, can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. When selecting an outdoor location, always:
• Make sure the pizza oven is not under an overhanging structure (a porch, a shelter...) or under foliage.
• Put the pizza oven on a firm, stable, fire resistant and non-combustible surface.
LIGHTING THE APPLIACE FOR FIRST USE
When using the pizza oven for first time, let it burn for 30 minutes. This removes any remaining
manufacturing greases from the pizza oven. Do not put the grill on the pizza oven yet.
Warning:
• Do not use spirit or petrol to light or re-light the pizza oven.
• Do not use treated wood, or non-organic firelighters.
• When accessing the oven door handle, use hand protection to avoid contact with hot surfaces.
• Make sure children can't not reach near the lit oven. Be careful of anything could trip someone near
the oven.
• To avoid knocking out the embers when opening the fireplace door, open it slightly to check if any
danger of a flaming firewood when it's opened wide
USE:
Your pizza oven is in place, the handles of doors have been assembled, the first heating without food is
finished the baking of the high temperature paint (30 minutes). We just have to get started in the preparation
and cooking of pizzas.
Place untreated wood or charcoal into the lower fuel area. Do not use more fuel than 75% of fuel area
capacity, e.g. 3 kg charcoal or 2 small logs.
Place rolled up newspaper and kindling in with the fuel and using heat resistant gloves, light the fuel.
Always close the lower door when lighting fuels
WARNING! Do not spill water on hot coal. You could generate steam and ash,
which can cause serious bodily injury or death.
1. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Do not use water on pizza oven while hot as this will damage the finish
3. Never immerse in water.
4. The unit may be left outside all year if a cover is used to help protect it from bad weather
5. The pizza stone and cooking grill can be washed using a mild detergent. They are not suitable for
dishwasher use.
6. The pizza stone will develop soot on the underside – this may be difficult to remove and should be
expected.
