4. ACE system

4.3 Error messages

4.3.1 Error message Moté
If the error message Moté is displayed, the engine speed must
be increased with the speed lever, whereupon measurement can
be continued.
4.3.2 Error message Err

If the error message Err is displayed, the machine can only be
operated in the manual mode without relative indication. The ma-
chine must be checked by Ammann Service.
After pressing the emergency stop button and selecting the man-
ual mode, the machine can be operated further in this mode.
Buttons 1 – 3 are purely service buttons and have no function in
normal operation. These are reserved exclusively for error diag-
nosis by Ammann service personnel.

4.4 Emergency operation

If the ACE system malfunctions or is damaged, shutting it down
briefly will allow the machine to be operated as a normal vibration
plate until repairs are made.

• Remove the battery cover (1).

• Remove the plug (2) from the socket (3).

• Insert the plug (2) into the socket (4).
• Put the battery cover (1) back on.
The machine can now be used as a conventional vibration plate.
