PRECAUTIONS
• Electrical safety testing should be performed by a biomedical engineer or other qualified person.
• Read the instructions, cautions, and warnings provided with all FMS VUE System accessories before use. Your sales representative
can advise which accessories are used with the FMS VUE and NEXTRA systems.

CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION
After each operation, clean the foot pedal and the power cord with a Glutaraldehyde disinfectant such as CIDEX
and used as per manufacturer's instructions.
1. Prepare the disinfectant solution per manufacturer instructions.
2. Wipe the surface of the Foot Pedal with a cloth, swab or gauze pad soaked in disinfectant solution.
3. Let the disinfectant stay on all device areas for 19-20 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly in running water.
5. Allow the Foot Pedal to drain and dry thoroughly.

DO NOT AUTOCLAVE
Do not twist the cable when storing. Do not unplug instrument by pulling on cable.
MAINTENANCE
Inspect all equipment and cables periodically for wear. If damage is noted, replace or return to Repair Service Center.
Any repairs must be performed by a qualified Biomedical Engineer.
