6. MAINTENANCE: CLEANING YOUR ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFIER
Note: When cleaning the inside of the unit, keep the water away from the
air outlet.
• HOW TO ALWAYS KEEP THE PRODUCT CLEAN:
- Use purified water
- Clean the base of the unit, water tank and ultrasonic transducer every week
- Always change the water.
- Always drain out the water tank when not in use.
- Clean all parts of the humidifier before storing by wiping it over with a damp
cloth and dry with a cloth. (Except for the electrical control when the unit is
off, any part of the humidifier may be wiped with a soft damp cloth, and dried
with a dry cloth, ensure the unit is unplugged.)
• HOW TO CLEAN THE TRANSDUCER:
- Clean the dirty surface with a soft brush.
- Rinse the transducer with clean water.
• HOW TO CLEAN THE BASE OF UNIT:
- Clean the dirty flume with soft cloth
- If there is dirt on the surface of the protective switch of water line, use a
soft brush to clean.
- Wash the flume with clean water.
• HOW TO CLEAN THE ESSENCE COMPARTMENT:
- Remove the essence compartment and wash it, along with the sponge,
with soap and water.
- Dry the essence compartment with a soft cloth and allow the sponge to dry
completely before soaking it again with essences.
