6. SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
6.2.2 DEVICES

6.2.2.4 UVALVE / UVALVE+

• Description: You can make a brief description of the UValve (i.e.:
Quick Service UValve)
• Address: The system sets a local address automatically. You can
rename it just in case you need it.
• Associated Tank: You have to associate the tank that is physically
connected to the device. When you choose the tank you will see the
mane of the tank and the name of the product inside the tank; i.e.
LEFT-HAND TANK (15W40)
• Max Quantity: Regulates the maximum quantity that is possible to
dispense in one transaction with previous preset value, including the
first transaction and the topping (additional filling up quantities).
• Display Quantity: Activates or deactivates the showing of the
transaction on the display integrated on the device. If this option is
not chosen, moving arrows are showed on the display during the
transaction.
• Pulsemeter Value: This parameter corresponds to the nominal value
of the Pulse meter. The UValve incorporates a pulse generator of 328
Pulses per minute (PPL).
• SV Aperture Delay: Regulates the time the solenoid valve takes to
open after the transaction confirmation.
• Suspension Time: Regulates the pause time without receiving
pulses from the pulse generator. If the transaction is interrupted for
a time longer than this value, the transaction is counted as finished
and the solenoid valve closes automatically.

6.2.2.5 UMETER / UMETER+

• Description: You can make a brief description of the UMeter (i.e.:
Quick Service UMeter)
• Address: The system sets a local address automatically. You can
rename it just in case you need it.
• Associated Tank: You have to associate the tank that is physically
connected to the device. When you choose the tank you will see the

transaction on the display integrated on the device. If this option is
not chosen, moving arrows are showed on the display during the
transaction.
• Pulsemeter Value: This parameter corresponds to the nominal
value of the Pulse meter. The UMeter incorporates a pulse generator
of 328 Pulses per minute (PPL).
• Top Up Time: Regulates the waiting time after the initial transaction
is completed, making it possible to do an additional topping in the
same transaction although the preset quantity is achieved. After this
stated time, it is not possible to dispense an additional quantity to
the transaction and it is considered as completed.

stated time it is not possible to dispense an additional quantity to
the transaction and it is considered as completed.
For example, we have ordered 4 litres and after that these 4 litres
have been dispensed, this is the time available for making an
additional topping to the original transaction (for example another
0.2 litres, because even if we initially thought that the crank case had
4 litres, when the 4 litres are dispensed and the dip stick is checked
we see that we need to fill in a little more). During this time, the
display integrated in the device will show "top", giving the
possibility to extend the transaction.
• Remote Display 1: Selection of a remote display (UView) to show
the volume that is being dispensed.
• Remote Display 2: Selection of a second remote display (UView)
to show the volume that is being dispensed.
• K Factor: You can change the calibration factor if it already known.
In any case, it is automatically changed when the calibration
procedure is made in the UDat.
• Product Label for UVision: If a UVision is linked to this UValve,
you can set a small name that will appear on the upper right part of
the UVision screen.
Once you have set all the parameters, please press
