Check the air cleaner.
Check the air cleaner element to be sure it is clean and in good
condition.
Unsnap the two air cleaner cover clips, remove the air cleaner cover,
and remove the air cleaner element.
Clean or replace the air cleaner element if necessary (see page
38
).
Never run the engine without the air cleaner element. Rapid engine
wear will result from contaminants, such as dust and dirt, being
drawn through the carburetor, into the engine.
