1. Unscrew the spindle and remove it from the
dismantling tool.

2. Remove the Torx screw and rotate the repla-
ceable cutting insert 180°.

3. Fasten the replaceable cutting insert to the
spindle with the Torx screw.
4. Push the spindle into the dismantling tool as
shown in Fig. 11 and screw it in.

If both cutting edges of the replaceable
cutting insert our dull, a new replaceable
cutting insert must be fastened to the spindle
in step 4.

5.3
Lubricating the threads
¶
Lubricate the threads of the spindle if the
resistance to turning is excessive.
5.4
Cleaning the tool
¶
Rub tool with a lint-free cloth saturated with
universal oil.
¶
Rub dirty threads with a lint-free cloth sa-
turated with universal oil. Allow the universal
oil to act for a few minutes. Then wipe the
threads with a lint-free cloth and blow dry
using clean compressed air.

Decommissioning
6.1
Changing location
If the dismantling tool is passed on, all the do-
cumentation included in the scope of delivery
must be handed over with it. The snap ring
dismantling tool must only be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
6.2
Disposal and scrapping
Dismantle the snap ring dismantling tool and
sort out and dispose of the different materials in
accordance with the applicable regulations.
