Safety:
• The device may only be used as described in the following
instructions. Another use is not allowed.
• This equipment must be installed and the gas cylinder stored in
accordance with applicable regulations.
• Failure to follow the safety rules or misuse will result in disclaimer and
warranty void.
• The Clifton may only be operated by adults. Use under the influence
of alcohol and / or drugs or limited mental and physical fitness is
strongly discouraged.
• The Clifton can get very hot during operation. Do not touch the hot
surfaces, keep children away from the burner and leave enough space
with clothing.
• Do not place flammable materials or liquids near the flames.
• The appliance must be placed at least 60 cm away from flammable
materials / objects, such as pillows and the like.
• Never leave the burner insert unattended during use and only move it
when it is switched off.
• The burner insert was developed and tested as a heat source. This
should only be used as such.
• Only a licensed gas installer or qualified person may make changes
and / or repairs to your device.
• The gas hose must be changed within the prescribed intervals.
• Improper use, installation, maintenance and / or improper
modifications could result in damage to your property, injury or death.
• The burner insert is designed for use with propane or butane gas. Use
with natural gas is not possible.
• Change the gas bottle only in a well-ventilated area, away from
ignition sources such as candles, cigarettes and other spark-generating
devices.
• The screw connection of the pressure reducer to the gas cylinder
must be tight. If the screw connection loosens, close the gas cylinder
immediately and tighten the screw connection again.
