• Check that the regulator seal is correctly installed and properly
sealed.
• Make sure that the hose is not twisted and can not come into contact
with a hot and / or sharp surface.
• Test the gas hose and connections at least once a month and every
time you connect a gas cylinder (a new one or one that you previously
used) to leaks. If it shows signs of cracking, splitting or disruption, it
must be replaced with a new tube of equal length and quality.
• In case of a gas leak, close the gas cylinder immediately.
• Close the gas tap on the control panel after each use and before
moving the unit.
• Disconnect the gas cylinder from the burner insert if it is not used for
a long time.
• Do not touch the lava stones or ceramic logs until they have cooled
completely and use gloves.
• When first used, preheat the lava stones at the highest level for 15
minutes to remove impurities and trapped air from the natural lava
rock. It can happen that the lava rocks (partially) tear and / or particles
are ejected. Therefore, during these 15 minutes, keep at least 2 meters
around the Clifton free of flammable objects.
• If the gas hose needs to be replaced, it must comply with national
regulations. For proper operational and safety reasons, the gas hose
must be the same length as the one being replaced.
Assembly:
• The burner insert and gas bottle must be installed in accordance with
local regulations and this manual.
• Place the burner insert on a stable, level surface and note that it
should be as level as possible.
• The device must be installed in accordance with official regulations.
• Connect the built-in pressure regulator directly to your gas cylinder.
Do not replace the used gas pressure regulator with other models and /
or with different pressures.
