Igniting the gas fireplace:
• Open the gas valve on the gas cylinder.
Knob
• Push in the knob and turn it counterclockwise until the first stop
(Low).
• Keep the knob pressed for 5 to 10 seconds, then release it.
• Adjust the flame height with the help of the rotary knob. Turn it
counterclockwise for higher and clockwise for lower flames.
• If the burner does not light up, wait at least 30 seconds, then repeat.
• Use only the knob to light the fire and never a match or a lighter.
• ATTENTION: To switch off the burner insert, first close the valve on
the gas cylinder. Let the flame burn and do not turn the knob. After a
short time the flame will go out automatically. Now turn the knob to
"Off". Take care when touching hot surfaces.
Maintenance:
• The unit must be inspected before each use and checked once a year
by an approved gas installer.
• Check the gas hose regularly for cracks and replace at the first signs of
aging and leaks. The hose is commercially available and should conform
to EN1763-1 or EN 16436-1 standard.
• A new regulator is also available from your local dealer and should
comply with the EN16129 standard.
