2.1) Electrical connections
!
Carefully follow all the connection instructions, if you
have any doubts do NOT make experiments but consult
the relevant technical specifications sheets which are
also available on the web site www.niceforyou.com An
incorrect connection may cause serious damage to the
control unit.
2.1.1) Motor connection
The single-phase asynchronous motor powered by the electrical
mains must be connected on terminals 1-2-3-4. If the rotation direc-
tion is not correct, invert the terminals 1 and 3.
2.1.2) Power supply
The main supply to the unit (earth, phase, neutral) must be connect-
ed using the terminals 9-10-11.
2.1.3) ASCENT and DESCENT inputs
The user must connect two keys as shown in Fig. 3 in order to con-
trol the automation. Alternatively, it is possible to use one key only by
connecting it up as shown in Figure 4. The operating mode will be
"step-by-step" with this type of connection, which carries out the
sequence: ascent-stop-descent-stop. If the key is held down for
more than 3 seconds (but less than 10) an ascent manoeuvre will be
activated. If the key is held down for more than 10 seconds, a
descent manoeuvre will be activated. This may be useful for control-
ling more than one motor for the same manoeuvre regardless of the
state they are in.
2.1.4) TTBUS input
TTBUS has been developed in order to control the control units for
awnings and rolling-shutters and those motors with a control unit
which can be used for this purpose. The Bus makes it possible to
2.1.5) WEATHER SENSORS input
Either a "wind" sensor ("Volo"), or a special wind-sun sensor ("Volo
S") or a wind-sun-rain sensor ("Volo SR"). can be connected to the
"Climatic sensors" input (terminals 14-15). A total of 5 control units
in parallel can be connected up to the same sensor, taking care to
respect the polarity of the signals (on all the control units terminal 14
must be connected with the 14, and terminal 15 with the 15).

!
Do not connect more than one motor to each control
unit; if necessary, use the appropriate TTE expansion
cards.

control up to a 100 units individually, by simply connecting them up
in parallel with just 2 conductors (terminals 13-15). Further informa-
tion is provided in the instructions for remote controls via TTBUS.
!
If the wind sensor triggers, this will cause an ASCENT
command; if the sun sensor triggers, this will cause a
DESCENT command.
