INSTALLATION OF WORKING TOOLS
• Insert key into one of the holes on the circumference of the drill
chuck (1).
• Open jaws to desired dimension.
• Insert shank of the working tool into the drill chuck, push it to the
limit.
• Tighten jaws on working tool shank with the key (insert it into
three holes on the drill chuck circumference).
Remember to always remove the key from the drill chuck after you
finish installation or removal of a working tool.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate
of the mixer drill.
Switching on – press the switch button (3).
Switching off – release pressure on the switch (3).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (3) to the limit and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (4) (fig. D).
• Release pressure on the switch button (3).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (3).
Range of rotational speed of the spindle is controlled with
pressure on the switch button.
During operation, always hold the mixer drill firmly (with both
hands).
Be careful not to cover holes for motor ventilation in the mixer
drill body.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
• Always keep the mixer drill clean.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Use a brush or a dry piece of cloth to clean the mixer drill.
• Clean ventilation holes regularly to prevent motor overheating.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical
condition of carbon brushes of the motor checked by a qualified
person.
• Store the mixer drill in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked
motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon brushes at a
time.
• Unscrew carbon brush covers (9) (fig. E).
• Remove used carbon brushes.
• Remove any carbon dust with compressed air.
• Insert new carbon brushes (carbon brushes should easily move
into brush holders).
• Fix carbon brush covers (9).
After the carbon brushes are replaced, start the mixer drill with
no load and wait 2–3 minutes until the carbon brushes fit to the
motor commutator. It is recommended to entrust replacement
of carbon brushes only to a qualified person. Only original parts
should be used.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by
the manufacturer.
